Maple Lemon Butternut Squash

Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m trying two new things this Thanksgiving.

 Maple Lemon Butternut Squash

Ingredients

1 butternut squash (cut into quarters and remove seeds)

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup water

zest and juice of 1 lemon

salt and pepper to taste

4 tablespoons of butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°

Cut the butternut squash into quarters and cut off the ends

Combine maple syrup, water, lemon, salt & pepper

Place squash in pan (center side up)

1 tbsp of butter per quarter, place over squash

Bake for 20 minutes, turn over and finish baking for 25 minutes

Place on plate (center side up) and take remaining sauce and drizzle over the squash.

SO GOOD.

Sabrina the teenage witch says to turn the turkey over for the first hour of cooking for the juiciest turkey meat.

We’ll see, Sabrina, we’ll see.
